Women's Travel Club
We haven’t been everywhere. Yet.
A group of Boston women founded the Women’s Travel Club in 1934 for the purpose of sharing tales of intelligent travel and exploration by women. Since that time, when travel was arduous and often dangerous, especially for women, we have been sharing our challenging stories, even as travel itself has become easier. We meet monthly from September through May to enjoy presentations by our members in locations around the Boston area.
The Club funds travel scholarships to female grant applicants from outside our membership on a biannual basis. Our donations make it possible for these women to go into the world to accomplish goals that are critical for their careers.
In recent years we have also organized annual trips exclusive for our members to domestic and international destinations.
We invite fellow female adventurers to join and contribute to our growing hub of interesting travelers.
