Did you ever wonder where the monarch butterflies go when the chill sets in and they disappear from New England? Gillian will take us to the high, remote forests of Mexico where the monarchs gather to rest, protect each other from the cold, and find nourishment. We will go with her on horseback as she climbs high into the mountains in search of the butterflies. She will also introduce us to her hosts, Ellen Sharp and Joel Moreno – two very special people who are dedicating their lives to protecting the butterflies and their habitat as well as helping provide a living for the people of their village.
